Dopo quasi due anni di preparazione, finalmente l’oceano. E che oceano! Tanti abbracci sul molo di La Coruna e un po’ di commozione, come è giusto che sia. Poi, onde grandi come case che per fortuna sono al traverso, ma hanno messo un po’ sottosopra vettovaglie e ed equipaggiamento sotto coperta, niente di grave. Vento a 47 nodi, con massime a 56, per ora posso stare solo parallelo alla costa, ma da stasera speriamo che la situazione dovrebbe migliorare e con Obportus potremo prendere il largo!
After almost two years of preparation, finally the ocean. And what an ocean it is! Many hugs on the La Coruna pier and a bit of emotion, as it should be. Then, waves as big as houses that luckily are on the beam, but they turned the provisions and equipment upside down below deck, nothing serious. Wind at 47 knots, with gusts up to 56, for now, I can only stay parallel to the coast, but from tonight, we hope the situation should improve, and with Obportus, we should be able to head offshore!
